Great starting Plate Carrier
HEADS UP!
If any new members are asking you guys questions about what kind of plate carrier to get, this is a very inexpensive plate carrier. It has a cummberbund, so it's adjustable, and comes in coyote tan. Needs pouches though. It's the one I have. It's very cheap compared to most plate carriers, so I recommend it. And it doesn't come with pouches, so you can buy pouches separately and not waste money on a nice pre-made set up and wind up having pouches and accessories you don't need or want to use

Good stuff David. For those on a budget and needing a plate carrier this is a good option.

Depends on your playing style/comfort zone. What do you prefer? high speed/low drag? or sheer tanking ability?

Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
I'd suggest a medium loadout. More flexible than being choosy. Not perfect at one thing, but good at them all.
A medium kit will also help decide either or.
As far as a starting PC, while I can't personally reccomend the TAG Banshee PC based on a combat report, I can say that it was worth the money to invest in my PC based purely on overall product quality. I started out on a cheapo 30 Condor, and had a horrible experience. For above $50 under $100, Condor is king, but past that point TAG, Pantac, and Flyye compete for the crown, imo.

Very nice, when you get some money saved up and your guns etc are squared away consider getting a more expensive plate carrier...till then the one david suggested will serve the purpose.
Re: Great starting Plate Carrier

Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
they have some pantac gear, if i were you though, i would wait for asgi's store to open. they are bound to have a better selection. though, ordering online is probably going to be your cheapest option (taking into account gas to drive to the stores)

I completely agree on this. I wouldn't buy from cqb though, id trust the new asgi shop more than cqb lol (honoring returns and better products).
Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
yup, plus cqb has the same vests you would see at dicks, or sports authority (and maybe one or two types of pantac/anonymous vests)

Holding off and saving for the more expensive and higher quality option is always a better idea.

Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
I concur with Kyle. Saving money and getting top notch gear is the way to go. When you spend cheap you usually get a cheap product. Besides asgi will probably be packed this Saturday.
Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
yeahh that is true, but the will have everything in stock lol

Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
i agree with kyle, i spent a ton of money on my vest, so its above the average vest in terms of quality (nowhere near kyles). and i am very happy, it has lived up to its price completely

Re: Great starting Plate Carrier
however, if you are just starting, getting something within your budget is the way to go
